Wanted for the Fair

WANTED FOR THE FAIR:

Butter, eggs, sugar, flour and poultry. Will some flour merchant in the city be so kind as to send us a barrel of flour? the quantity already promised us is not quite sufficient. And will some benevolent grocer give us a keg of free sugar? it will be gratefully received as a most valuable donation. Our supply of poultry last year was less than usual; this year we hope it will be abundant. Several pairs of chickens will be needed, a few days before the Fair to make salads. Will our Friends in the country see to it that we have then in time? Butter and eggs also, if sent several days before the Fair, can be most profitably used in furnishing the Refreshment Table. They will be much needed for that purpose; and the surplus, which we hope will be large, will command a high price in the market.
